HB 678

This bill would have required any business or agency to pay for credit monitoring services for 3 years following a security breach.

The bill was passed with amendments, and in its current version will only apply to government agencies.

26th Legislature Opens

After months of uncertainty, the House of Representatives announced that Speaker of the House Calvin Say would retain his post. Further committee assignments are forthcoming.

The Senate opened with its new President, Senator Shan Tsutsui of Maui.
